Retro Platform Adventures in Dan Danger

Dan Danger is a retro-style platform game with a pixelated style. Can you help Dan to survive his expedition?

Dan Danger Embarks on a Deadly Adventure

Dan Danger is an explorer who has set off in search of a lost tribe of Aztecs. However, his plane has crashed in South America, and he has found himself lost in a vast maze of underground caves filled with traps and enemies. It is your job as the player to guide Dan safely through the maze and help him to succeed on his expedition. Collect coins, leap over deadly spikes, and dodge whatever terrible enemies are waiting for you in the vast cavern system.

A Treat for 1980s Gaming Veterans

Dan Danger is designed specifically to emulate classic 8-bit platform games, and has a graphical style and general gameplay that fit this aim. Anyone with fond memories of playing platform games in the 1980s will instantly feel at home with Fan Danger's adventures, which also pay homage to 1980s Hollywood hits such as the Indiana Jones films. In short, as well as offering an entertaining gaming experience, Dan Danger also acts as a love-letter to the era of 1980s pop culture.

PROS

  • Captures the spirit of the 8-bit era faithfully.
  • Offers a good challenge.

CONS

  • Some may find the graphics too simple.
  • Less sophisticated than many modern platform games.
